Our sites are hosted at a data center that is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The data center connects to the Internet with multiple redundant OC-3 connections, using two Tier 1 provider backbones.  If you aren't familiar with all this jargon, these are the fastest possible connections and are configured in such a way that our connection to the internet won't fail even if a major part of the internet is out of service for some reason.

The power for all services is backed up by redundant diesel generators and battery systems.  All the servers on the network have configured spares standing by, so that if there is a hardware failure requiring that equipment be changed, they can be swapped out in seconds.
